Computer graphics, skateboarding, post production and animation. This week we meet the Nettuts+ team. This post is taken from the site’s Meet the Cgtuts+ Team page on the site.
Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that actual human beings create the content here on Cgtuts+. We are in fact real people, and not just a team of highly trained button mashing chimps. In addition to our numerous part time contributors, we have a global team of talented and passionate artists creating all kinds of tutorials and content relating to the art of computer graphics.
Browse this page to meet a few of our regular authors and contributors, and feel free to say hi on Twitter or on Facebook. Also, if you would like to contribute content to the site you can find more information on our Submission Page.

Chris has nearly a decade of experience working with 3D studio Max and has authored many in depth tutorials for Cgtuts+ as well as other websites. A generalist by definition, Chris spends most of his time modeling, but has many years of experience in the area’s of UVMapping, Texturing, Lighting and Rendering. I am a CG/VFX artist and mentor from India. I started my career in 2004 as a CG artist and have since worked for a TV channel, AD agency and a Production house. I came into education later in 2006 and since then I have been enjoying teaching CG and VFX stuff to the students. Working in the education field gave me lots of time and opportunity to learn new software and skills. I started vfxrider.com as my personal website in 2008 where I used to release my own video tutorials on CG, Compositing & VFX. It gave me immense pleasure to teach my ways to the students, helping them become VFX artists. Thinking of new ideas and plans, I converted this website into a professional one with lots of cool features. Working as a full time mentor in an international college of animation in New Delhi, India. I am associated with several CG magazines and CGtuts+ & AETuts+ also as a regular author and contributor.
I’m a 23 year old motion graphics designer from Bulgaria. I have 4 years of professional experience behind me. Most of my time is spent working for a large post production studio. In my spare time I work as a freelancer. I’m interested in photography as well as cinematography. I love creating new things every day and discovering the secrets of movie making and visual fx. My preferred 3D software package is probably C4D, because it’s the most comfortable for motion graphics, which is what I’m mainly doing at this point. My compositing software of choice is After Effects and I love it, but in the future I would like to learn Nuke or Fusion.
I love my work, because it’s my hobby and my passion, so I no longer feel like I’m working.
Finally I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of you the readers, authors and site editors! You keep this great community running and hope we are going to have a lot of great times together in the future
