First Impressions: Strengths
Every site has some merits, and the good impressions I made here are these:
Unique, Eye Catching Logo
When visiting Designrs Hub my eye was first drawn to their logo. It’s bold, bright and unique. Without this logo the blog would look more generic but it helps to create some great instant branding.

An Updated Version of a Classic PSDFAN Tutorial:
I had the idea for this tutorial when I browsing some of our most popular posts the other day. One of our most popular posts is our tutorial Create Smokey Typography in 12 Steps.
It still to this day is one of our highest trafficked posts, and has received plenty of positive comments.
However, all I could think when re-reading it the other day were two things:
1. I’ve come a long way as a designer and can honestly do better now. The effect is kind of cool, but in my opinion not all that realistic.
2. The workflow used is pretty dated now. It’s highly destructive, and uses an older version of Photoshop.

Cartoon characters are something that is present in our lives at some point; it’s part of our childhood. While we might not be as attached to them as we were when we were young, the characters do hold an appeal to all ages. Perhaps it has something to do with the way to cartoon characters were designed, or was it the image that the character presented and the story itself. Some of the legendary cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, My Little Ponies and The Smurfs were so popular that not only were they alive as a cartoon character but also an icon and a brand.

Now a days, many people are talking about depth in visualization, we have 3D home theatres and cinema, we even have High Defintion (HD) mode on our television. The syntax used in JavaScript was strongly influenced by C; but Java, Pearl, Python, and Scheme also played its part too.
